Concept Sketches

Mark Wilken at Swinburne probably pushed my sketching along more than anybody (though Choi Hunchal and John Riccardo had more work to do on me). I practiced Mark's automotive style (sky, horizon, earth) on pretty much everything with the odd dash of colour to catch the eye.

Even though I'd amassed a pile of Copic markers, colour was generally left out unless it was part of the design. If it relied on colour to make it interesting, that was just 'rolling it in glitter'.
